Walk over a squashed worker in throw or Ant Launcher mode to load it automatically when there is room. With spray or foam equipped, carcasses stay on the ground. Pale eggs in the colony load the same way, sharing the one-in-hand or three-in-launcher capacity. Shift throws the next ant or egg; eggs splat on impact and can stagger foamed soldiers. Steer sideways or backward to cancel jump assistance. Until Marin picks up her backpack, she can carry and throw one ant. The backpack includes Spray (1), Foam (2), and the three-round Ant Launcher (3); Spray is selected on pickup.
02 / FOLLOW THE TRAILThe yard is crawling with black workers. Clear the food caches, then jump onto the compost bin and from there onto the ivy planter. Walk up to the trail on top to inspect it.
03 / REFILL → RECHARGEThe exterminator kit comes fully loaded. Spray and foam share a finite tank: only a refill station replenishes it. Walk up to the tool bench or field supplies for tank and health, then step away before another refill. Stomp or spray workers guarding food, then walk up to the clear cache to seal it. Sealing restores one health, but no tank fuel.
04 / TOOLS WITH A JOBPick up the loaded spray + foam kit at the tool bench—available immediately. Spray: a powerful, wide short-range cone. Soldiers die after three attacks from another ridden soldier (Shift). Eggs and ants cannot kill them; their bodies cannot be picked up or thrown. Your mount survives, so there is always a soldier left to ride. Foam: hold soldiers still for 14 seconds and ground flyers. Foam also stops workers repairing the queen. Visit refill stations when your shared tank runs low; neither waiting nor changing chapters or queen phases refills it. Mounted soldiers shield Marin from ordinary ant bites; the queen can knock her off and hurt her.
Secure all three food caches, inspect the trail on top of the ivy planter, then head for the kitchen door. No need to hunt down every ant.
